Affaires Nomades prepare an order and dispatched items usually between 1-3 business days, unless they are particularly large, or cumbersome. In this case, the client will be informed.

We always ship to customers’ addresses on file (we cannot deliver to PO Boxes), so please ensure it is up to date and current.

Shipping methods and option

  • La Post, the French national courier, which delivers worldwide and usually takes 3-8 business days (3-5 business days for the UK and rest of mainland Europe).
  • Colissimo, the French national courier, which delivers worldwide and usually takes 3-8 business days (3-5 business days for the UK and rest of mainland Europe).

  • Happy Post, our low cost shipper, which uses the Mondial Relay network, usually takes 5-16 working days (5 working days for the UK and rest of mainland Europe and 16 for working days for US and Asia ).

These options include tracking,  and/or a signature on delivery.  Insurance is included when using Colissimo and can be added upon request to Happy Post deliveries.

  We pack items ourselves safest possible fashion for international transit, packaging may be recycling material.

Shipping delay are given for informational and indicative purposes, these depending in particular on the availability of goods and the order of arrival orders.

  Delays in deliveries can not give rise to any penalty or indemnity, nor to motivate the cancellation of the order.

  In any case, Affaires Nomades incurs no liability in case of non-performance or delay in the performance of one of its obligations by the carrier. It results from an act is beyond our control.

  If 7 (seven) days beyond the indicative delivery date indicated on the order, the goods have not yet been delivered, the Customer must contact Archivist & Co who will be informed of the deadlines with his carrier and can then perform a claim.

  If 1 (one) month after the indicative delivery date –

 Metropolitan France (45 days for DOM – TOM and the European Union, 2 months outside the European Union) the goods have not been delivered, for any other cause than a case of force majeure, the sale can then be solved from right at the request of either party, by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. The Buyer may then obtain restitution of his down payment to the exclusion of any other compensation or damages.

In any event, timely delivery can only occur if the customer is up to date with its obligations to Affaires Nomades, whatever the cause, and without the customer being able to claim any compensation.

 All shipping costs vary based on the total weight of your purchased item/s.  Our online shop automatically calculates the total weight of your purchased item/s and determines the shipping cost based on your location.

 Due to our products are very different weights and for multiple purchases shipping cost will be addition automatically, it is possible that the calculated shipping cost is less than the actual amount,  in this case, overages  >1 euros will be refunded to the buyer within 7 days of order.  Please contact us to discuss further.

Tracking your order

All orders are shipped with tracking. You can track your order using your tracking number and the link on your shipping confirmation email. You can also visit the following sites to track your order. Be sure to have your tracking number ready.

Customs & Import Taxes

Customers are responsible for any customs duties fees and import taxes that may apply when parcel are shipped outside of the EU (within the EU customs duties do not apply).

Import charges can vary widely but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

Return & Exchange Policy

Right of withdrawal

 In accordance with the provisions of Articles L.121-20 and following of the Consumer Code, non-professional individuals have a period of seven days from the receipt of the items ordered to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons or to pay penalties, with the exception of the costs of return which remain at their expense. The transportation of the returned products is their responsibility.  Any damage suffered by the products on this occasion being of nature, as recalled hereafter, to check the exercise of the right of retraction.

 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the product concerned must be returned to the minimum accompanied by last name and first name and their declared address to Affaires Nomades (email or postal) or the order number.

 If this step, your request can nevertheless be taken into account but, in case of difficulty of identification, its treatment can be lengthened.

 Only items returned in a condition for their sale by Affaires Nomades (this assumes that they are returned new, unwashed in their original packaging.) As a result, items returned incomplete, damaged or soiled will not be returned. taken back.

 The refund of the amount paid to the order will be made no later than thirty days after receipt of the letter in proportion to the service already started.

As an exception to the provisions applicable to the right of withdrawal, any return of goods must be the subject of a written agreement between Affaires Nomades and the customer.

Any goods returned without this agreement will be held at the disposal of the Buyer and will not give rise to the establishment of a credit or refund of the said sum.

 The costs and risks of return are always the responsibility of the Buyer.

 Any accepted resumption will result, after verification of the returned products to the Affaires Nomades choice is:

  – the establishment of a credit for the benefit of the Buyer
– the replacement of goods
– repayment of the said sum.

The customer is informed that there may be normal defects in the goods revealed during delivery and resulting from the quality of the products and colors. These defects do not call into question the order.
